Prof. Shi introduced on the application of the latest research result "Low Surface Treatment Multifunctional Epoxy Coatings" in the field of steel structure, which has taken an overall leading position at the international market, and the new type of rust-exempted anticorrosion coatings has reached the international leading level.

The professor, as the first one in China to master the microstructure theoretical design, regulation process and manufacturing technology of porous high-performance heat-insulating materials, realized the downscaling application of military-to-civilian conversion, synchronously introduced the Fireproof and Insulating Materials of Harbin Institute of Technology.
